![]() ![]() ![]() For some reason the rig it generates is so complex, attempting to export a character model with it just results in an empty file. But for my game dev needs it's not going to be particularly useful in the near future, since it only currently supports FBX exporting to Unity and Unreal, and I'm using Godot and need GLTF exporting instead. Very useful tool and I have no doubt I will make great use of it for a lot of my Blender-only related projects. It works amazingly well and does a great job of automatically detecting fingers and other stuff, comes with lots of great tools, very awesome tool, gave it 5 stars. Like for example, tonight I got Auto-Rig Pro. specific use cases and situational restrictions. If you're only making very simple characters that are low poly, you may be better off just making your own rigs, it's not hard, and there's plenty of tutorials on how to do common stuff like setting up IK and drivers for shapekeys (I can link some if you need them), and you can make a rig, save it separately, then adjust it's size to fit another character to reuse it once you have it made, even 'kitbash' parts of rigs together.Īutorigging tools are useful too though, if used well and in the right situations, especially if you've making very complex detailed characters, and will need to do some very fine quality animation that would benefit from a well designed rig, like rigging a birds wings opening, but with great power, comes great.
